Neuropsychological assessments can help identify how students learn best

Neuropsychological and psychological assessments are useful for identifying students (ages 16+ only) with:

  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Disability
  • Specific Learning Disorders (e.g., Reading [formerly dyslexia], writing, & math disorders)
  • Depression, anxiety, or other mental illnesses that interfere with learning

Assessments can help determine eligibility for:

  • Classroom-based learning accommodations
  • Accommodations for high-stakes testing (such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, MCAT, or LSAT)
